WORKSHOPS:
the Velluti Project
Workshops, done through masterclasses, round tables, and more informal salon settings integrate research, performance and pedagogical activities that explore performance practice, historical treatises, primitive recordings and original training material based on thorough assimilation of Garcia, de Garaudé, Lamperti, Tosi and Marchesi as well as consideration of the great bel canto instrumentalists such as Bassi and Lovreglio, and of course Chopin. Pride of place is given to Giovanni Battista Velluti and the many lessons that can be gleaned from his example.
